Engineering

All general permits require 3 copies of a grading plan (an example is available on our website) and the required fee ($225 for single-family home, $175 for pools, $100 for most other projects). Road opening applications require a depiction of where the road will be opened and fees are assessed after an application is reviewed. Please do not hesitate to contact our office with questions about what to submit. 

It takes no more than 10 business days to get a response to your permit application. Remember to check with the Planning & Zoning Department to receive their approval if required. Not having an approved Zoning Permit may delay approval from the Engineering Department.

Because Engineering inspections take place outside and no one is required to be home, we are still conducting final inspections. Once your work is complete and the ground is stabilized and seeded, please contact the Engineering Office to schedule your inspection.

The Engineering Department accepts check or cash in the exact amount. Unfortunately we do not accept credit card and cannot give out change.
