HHS Raiders Boys Soccer and Hillsborough GS Service Unit 72 Team Up for Community Service Project for Hillsborough C.A.N. Food Pantry

Hillsborough High School Raiders Boys Soccer Team joined members of Hillsborough’s Service Unit 72 Girl Scouts for a community service event facilitated by the Hillsborough Social Service department. The children worked together to tackle an inventory project for the Hillsborough CAN (Community Assistance Network) and also prepared for the CAN's Thanksgiving food distribution.

Throughout the year, the CAN provides assistance to the families and individuals of Hillsborough who are experiencing food insecurity, which includes a Thanksgiving meal kit and holiday gifts and meals.  The CAN is able to provide these necessities thanks to the support and generosity of local individuals and organizations.
