Winter Sump Pump Reminder from the Engineering Department

The Engineering Department would like to remind residents that with the cold weather existing sump pumps discharging to the street or sidewalk causing hazardous ice conditions to the road travel lanes or sidewalks must be relocated. It is acceptable if the ice only impacts the gutter area. All new sump pump discharges are not allowed to be pumped to the street per the Township Code.
