Thank you to Royce Brook Golf Course for partnering with Social Services in providing meals for a number of our seniors who are housebound with a limited capacity to obtain food amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In partnership with Hillsborough Social Services, Royce Brook helps provide 25 free meals three times per week to seniors who cannot leave their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic and do not have local family nearby to assist. Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Head Chef Mark Barrows and staff prepare meals at the club to be delivered by township staff to residences throughout Hillsborough.
This joint venture not only provides meals for the seniors, but enables the Townships staff to check in on the seniors.
