Road Paving Updates

The Engineering Department would like to report that the 2021 Repaving Project has started. The following roadways are now under construction: Williamsburg Drive, Weybridge Drive, Bywater Way, Bywater Court, Rivendell Road, Silverlode Court, Dunedain Street, Snowbourn Place, and Lorien Place.

The contractor began last week with replacing handicap ramps at intersections. Milling and repaving will take place in a week or two, weather permitting. During the milling and repaving, no vehicles can be parked on those roadways and the contractor will place temporary “no parking” signs.

Signs will be placed by the contractor, Top Line Construction, the night before a street is worked on to alert residents so that vehicles can be parked on adjoining streets that are not under construction or are already completed.

An exact time frame when a street will be repaved cannot be determined in advance due to weather and/or the speed of the contractor’s work force. Residents should look for signs being posted to stay informed.
