Halloween Activities From the Recreation Department

The Hillsborough Parks & Recreation Department will have no shortage of Halloween-themed events this year offering opportunities for all residents to participate!

On Thursday, October 28th, from 3:30-5:30 PM at Norz Hill Farm they will be hosting their 7th annual Children's Halloween Party. This event is $8.00 per child which includes a walk through the children's bale maze, hayride to the pumpkin patch, and much more! Pre-registration is required on the Parks & Recreation website.

On Saturday, October 30th, starting at 8:30 AM the annual dog "Howl-O-Ween" Parade and Costume Contest will take place at Ann Van Middlesworth Park. During this event families and pets will be able to gather in the dog park while our Hillsborough Girl Scouts rank the costumes and select prize winners such as best costume, best group costume, and much more! All prizes are donated from local businesses and this is sure to be a great event! No pre-registration is required!

Returning this year is our Trunk or Treat at the Willow Road Complex! This is an excellent option for young trick or treaters. The Trunk or Treat will take place on Saturday, October 30th, from 1:30-2:30 PM. Families can provide a decorated "Trunk/Vehicle" as well as candy to hand out to the Trunk or Treaters. Unfortunately, registration for the trunk or treating aspect is now full. However, there is still room for families that wish to provide a decorated trunk.
