Vaccinate Your Dogs & Cats
The Hillsborough Health Department and Dr. Charles Schwirck, Veterinarian, sponsored a free rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, January 15th. 200 dogs and cats were vaccinated at this clinic. The Health Department would like to remind everyone that all dogs over seven months of age must be licensed in Hillsborough Township. Also, there is a Mandatory Cat Vaccination Ordinance that requires cat owners to vaccinate their cats against rabies. If you are caring for a cat, i.e. feeding it, you are considered a caretaker and you must vaccinate the cat. Please call the Health Department for information regarding clinics and other information.
