Senior Curbside Pick Up and Other Reminders from DPW

The Annual Township Clean up/Drop Off program and the Senior Curbside Pick up programs have begun as of April 4th. This is a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted items that may be cluttering up your house or yard. Register now!

Please be advised that all senior curbside pick items must follow the following guidelines or they will not be accepted: Ten (10) Items Maximum (Boxed or Bundled Items Count as One) can be put out, with a manageable amount of brush. Branches can not be more than 6’ in length and the cut ends should be facing the curb. The pile should not be larger than 15’ long x 5’ high x 6’ wide. Please see the slide for reference. There is no cost for this program.

Also, a reminder that small business recycling takes place at the Public Works yard on East Mountain Road, weekdays from 9 am to 2 pm. Please visit the main office before dropping off your cardboard, plastic, or metal cans, to show identification validating your Hillsborough business.

Finally, with the weather breaking, DPW road crews will be out making necessary repairs. It is extremely important that all traffic signage placed in the work zones is adhered to for everyone's safety and well-being.
