SCLS and Parks & Recreation Department Host StoryWalk®

As of August 1st the Hillsborough Branch of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey shared its first StoryWalk® adventure – an interactive, nature-filled, storybook journey – hosted in partnership with Hillsborough Township Parks and Recreation.

We are fortunate here in Hillsborough Township to have such a fantastic working relationship with the Hillsborough branch and look forward to continued collaboration.

The StoryWalk® begins with a path through the Rain Garden outside of the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building. Then participants are encouraged to read along from one poster board to the next, enjoying and interacting with the featured story, “Those Darn Squirrels” by Adam Rubin. Be sure to check it out.
