Social Services Update - September 13, 2022

Residents living in the Royce Brook neighborhood participated in the second annual Christmas in July fundraiser.  “The Grinch” played a prominent role in this year’s festivities, showing up in crafts, games and movies.  Throughout the week, the neighborhood hosted games for the children, which resulted in prizes and as an added bonus, children were encouraged to bring donations to benefit their local food pantry, Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (C.A.N.).

Shoprite gift cards were also donated to Hillsborough C.A.N., which was made possible through the support of neighborhood children who made and sold bracelets along with lemonade.

Jenn Price, the organizer of this event commented “This is truly one of my favorite weeks of the year, to have people come by and participate in fun activities while helping others!  We are already looking for our theme for 2023.”
