Triangle School Celebrates Week of Respect With C.A.N. Donation
Triangle Elementary School celebrated the Week of Respect (October 3rd through October 7th) with the theme “We CAN show respect”. Teachers incorporated the topic of respect throughout the week with various P.R.I.D.E. activities to show their Triangle values. P.R.I.D.E. is the character education program at Triangle Elementary School.
Students were encouraged to participate in “Spirit Wear” days, such as pajama day, when students wore pajamas to express the idea, "We CAN put unkind behavior to bed". Students and staff, with the help of the Triangle community, made donations to go to the Community Assistance Network (C.A.N.) food pantry, housed in the township’s Social Services Department. Students were excited to participate and have the chance to support Hillsborough families in need.
