Social Services Department Needed Items
With the rising cost of groceries, the Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (C.A.N.), housed in the Social Services Department here, in the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building, helps Hillsborough residents in need. Thanks to generous donations from individuals and groups such as the Saint Joseph’s CCD 7th grade class, the C.A.N. is able to provide groceries and necessities for 70 families on a regular basis.
If you need assistance with food insecurity, please do not hesitate to fill out an application, found on the Social Services webpage.
If you would like to donate, C.A.N. accepts monetary donations as well as non-perishable items. There is a current need for:
- Paper Towels
- Laundry Detergent
- Dish Detergent
- Conditioner
- Canned Beans
- Soup
- Feminine Hygiene Products
