Spring Street Sweeping Program Begins - Please Place Trash Bins on the Sidewalk

The Department of Public Works has started its street sweeping program.  With increasingly comprehensive stormwater plans in place, the township-owned roadways will be swept more often during the year.  We are asking residents not to place their trash and recycling cans in the street so the sweeper can perform its job effectively.  Also, any overhanging portable basketball rims should be placed off the curb so that they do not impact the vehicle’s path.  With hundreds of miles of roadway to sweep we need every advantage we can get to help us accomplish this large maintenance task.
