Update: Soliciting Without a Permit

As a reminder to residents, only the following have applied for and have been approved for a Peddler’s license in Hillsborough Township:

• Ice cream trucks
• A representative from Coldwell Banker real estate.

No other businesses are currently holding a permit to solicit door-to-door, nor are there any applications pending. Anyone else currently soliciting - including pest control companies -  is doing so without a permit. You can report anyone soliciting in your neighborhood to the police department’s non-emergency number at 908-369-4323. Please note that this doesn’t include political or religious canvassing. Hillsborough doesn’t currently have a no-knock list.
