Hillsborough C.A.N. in Need of Personal Care and Other Items

The Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (CAN) is in need of personal care and snack items for food pantry clients. The following are especially needed:

• Deodorant

• Shampoo and conditioner

• Body wash, soap, and other cleansers

• Sunblock

• Shaving cream and razors

• Wet wipes

• Lotions

• Laundry detergent

• Crackers

• Raisins

• Nuts

• Cookies

• Chips 

• Granola Bars

• Other snacks 

The Social Services department would also like to share a sustainability tip: When donating detergents, please consider alternatives like environmentally-friendly laundry sheets. In addition to reducing the number of plastic jugs in our landfills, laundry sheets are also a better storage option for those with limited space in their homes. 

All items can be donated to the Social Services Department at the Municipal Building.
