Modifications to the Outside Site Lighting Require a Permit from the Engineering Department.

The Engineering Department would like to inform owners of apartment complexes, townhouses, condos, and businesses that any modifications to the outside site lighting require a permit from the Engineering Department. Site lighting is regulated by Township Codes and was approved as part of a site plan when the project was originally built. Any lighting modifications, such as upgrading to new LED fixtures, will require a new lighting plan professionally prepared by a lighting expert. It should show the upgraded lighting conforms to the Township Code, 188-57. In addition, an electrical permit may be required from the Construction Department for new fixture hookups.
