Hillsborough Announces New SDL Portal App

App will allow residents to access  Hillsborough Township services via smartphone

Hillsborough Township residents can now check the status of their building permits via a new smartphone app. The SDL Portal app will enable users to fill out applications, read Township news, check the calendar for upcoming meetings and events, see the status of permits, view photos from special events, and read social media updates, among other features and services.

“It makes sense for us to roll out new technology so residents can access Township news and services on their cell phones,” said Committeeman Shawn Lipani at the April 30th Township Committee meeting. “It’s a convenient and modern platform for communicating with the community.”

The SDL Portal App is available now. Residents who don’t already have an SDL account with the Township will have to sign up to gain access to the information and services offered through the app. Residents can download the SDL Portal App via the Google Play or iPhone App Store.
