Police Chief Mike McMahon would like to remind Hillsborough residents to protect themselves from becoming a victim of theft.

• Keep your vehicles locked at all times
• Remove all valuables, especially personal identity items
• If you must leave valuables in your vehicle, lock them in your trunk or your glove box. 
• Don’t leave holiday gifts in your car
• The best and safest recourse is not to leave any valuables in your car
