Holiday Light Safety

The holiday season is coming up fast and now is the time when families begin decorating their homes. The festive lights, although pretty, have some associated risks you should be mindful of. When purchasing holiday lights check the packaging for the UL listing. Only use the lights in the conditions they are rated for (indoor or outdoor). Use GFCI-protected outlets for all outdoor lights but be careful not to overload any outlets.
