Township Committee Recognizes 2020 Hillsborough Baseball League 11U Team For Their Successful Season
At the September 22nd meeting, the Township Committee recognized the 2020 Hillsborough Baseball League 11U Team. The team had a very successful season due to their hard work and dedication. The Hillsborough Baseball League 11U Team had a 20-6-1 final record for the summer season, were championship game participants in every summer tournament and won the 11U State Championship, Cal Ripken League, Northern NJ Division.
“The Township Committee commend the Hillsborough Baseball League 11U Team, the coaches and parents, not only for their successful season, but for their hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport and to those principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork and academic achievement which the organization endorses,” said Mayor Doug Tomson.
The 2020 Hillsborough Baseball League 11U Team consisted of the following young athletes: Brandon Bender, Nathan Bienstock, Shane Borer, Elijah Dawes, Connor Emmich, Jon Feltre, Hailee McNally, Aidan Murphy, Shaan Patel, Gavin Ross, Kyle Simonitis, and Peter Wheeler and was led by Coaches Eric Eden, Scott Ross, Brian McNally, William Bender, and Dave Bienstock.
“We commend the Hillsborough Baseball League 11U Team for the honor they have brought to themselves, their organization, and our community,” added Mayor Tomson.
