Flood Insurance Information From FEMA

 The Engineering Department wants to pass along information received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regarding flood insurance. If a resident has questions about their flood insurance there are 4 places that may be of assistance. First, your personal insurance agent should have information about your specific flood insurance.

The FEMA Call Center is also available for general questions at 877-336-2627. The Flood Insurance Manual, Section 1, contains a list of regulations, maps, and forms. Find a copy of the entire manual online at fema.gov/flood-insurance.

Finally, the state National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Coordinator is available via phone and mail. Their contact number is 609-292-2296 or you can send mail to NJ Department of Environmental Protection, PO Box 419, Trenton, NJ 08625.
