Updates From the Health Department

The health department gave out over 200 well water sample kits to test drinking water after the Tropical Storm Ida. The project will extend another week to allow those with bacteria to have their wells disinfected and retested.

The health department, in cooperation with Greenbrook Family Medicine, gave 130 Flu vaccinations on Sept. 9 and Sept. 23. We are tentatively planning another clinic for October 7.

The next Covid vaccination clinic will be at the YMCA on Saturday, October 2nd, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available.
